Here I am, beginning with an introduction of myself.
Currently in college, I am in the midst of being smothered by upcoming exams and final papers. There's only a week left for the papers to be written and I don't even have a paragraph for one of them... genius? I know. It just so happens that I am one of those procrastinators. It's what I do best, along with many other people out there.
I have lived in a variety of places: Lagos, Nigeria; Calgary, Alberta; Victoria, BC; Danville, California; and Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Through all my experiences in these places, I think it's safe for me to assume that they are the reasons for me choosing to study Anthropology. One particular experience that I had in Kazakhstan was getting to go on an amateur archaeological dig with actual archaeologists in Sarychyk, Kazakhstan. Along with this experience, Indiana Jones, and all those wonderful crime fighting TV shows have led me to be most interested into further studying Forensic Anthropology or even Osteology because bones are outrageously exciting... for me anyways :)
Along the way there were many other places I had the opportunity to travel to. After moving back to Canada, I felt like my wings were clipped, so I am really hoping that one day I get to go back out into the world because it's one experience I can never really forget.
So to sum things up: I love to travel and wish to do so once I have a "real" job.
Anyways, I guess I'll leave you there... I don't really know what the rest of this blog will produce, but heads up, I'm certain there'll be future posts of me ranting.
Now to watch House!
